Spectre & Meltdown are security vulnerabilities that affect many modern processors on servers, desktops, laptops, as well as many smaller mobile devices including smartphones and tablets. Datalogic devices are purpose-built for use in a business environment with limitations on access, usage, and loading of software. This greatly reduces the likelihood of malware attacks on Datalogic products.With that being said, Datalogic has conducted an analysis on its product lines against these threats, and is working with its operating system and chipset vendors for a formal risk assessment and timeline for patch.
