The SC5100 has been designed to include native integration throughout the Stationary Industrial Scanner Portfolio (DS/DX Laser readers, AV Imagers, DM Dimensioners) and openness to 3rd party components (i.e. RFID, scales, IP cameras). The result is full support for advanced system solutions (DWS=Scan-Dim-Weight, BHS=Baggage Handling, etc.) and open possibilities for new application solutions.
The presence of a fully configurable embedded 4 port GB Ethernet switch, optional fieldbus modules and extended memory to implement Scale Alibi are the most important evidences of the available flexibility to support complex solutions as well as to provide state-of-the art tools for local and remote monitoring (ready to utilize IoT and Industry 4.0 environments).
