Tuincentrum Osdorp, a garden center founded in 1960, has grown from a rural nursery to a one-stop shop for private and professional gardeners. It has 16,000 m2 of retail space and stocks more than 30,000 items, from flowers and plants to garden furniture and tools. For about a decade, the center has been expanding into e-commerce, a sector that doubled during the pandemic restrictions. To improve the efficiency of e-commerce, the company moved to a warehouse in Aalsmeer and implemented Datalogic's Memor 11 scanners to significantly improve its order fulfillment process. These scanners offer superior scanning performance, a fast octa-core processor and wireless charging. The Memor 11 scanners also support Tuincentrum Osdorp's own e-commerce order capture and item-to-shelf card association applications. The garden center was an early adopter of Datalogic equipment, using Datalogic Joya Touch A6 scanners since 2017 and later the Memor 10 model before upgrading to the Memor 11 series.
