Thanks to the significant feedback from its customers and with the support of the recently established “Quality Partner” network, Datalogic anticipated the need for a new innovative handheld barcode reader: one that would be easy to use, fast and reliable as CCD contact ones, but with the reading range capability of laser-based readers. Thus, the DLC7070 “CCD Gun” was created, the first CCD reader featuring laser-like illumination and distance reading capability, targeting data capturing applications in Retail and Office Automation. A true milestone in the world of barcode reading.
