With this new device, Datalogic could offer to their customers an optical precision solution instead of the existing mechanical ones, significantly increasing accuracy and quality of packaging operations.
The success was extraordinary, but Dr. Romano Volta did not stop there and had an even bolder vision. He wanted to extend automation beyond the single machine, expanding it to the entire process revolving around it.
