In 1998, Datalogic decided to spin off the sensor business, thus creating two companies, which kept the Datalogic logo, but displayed two different payoffs to clarify their specific product focus: Datalogic "Sensor & More" and Datalogic "Bar Code & More." In time, Sensor & More would evolve to become the company known as Datasensor, while Bar Code & More continued to grow under Datalogic’s brand.
